Fall Concert

Can you Handel the Hart House Chorus? Join us for our fall concert and find out! We are delighted to bring you two pieces penned by that master of joyful sound, George Frideric Handel.

Utrecht Te Deum and the Ode For the Birthday of Queen Anne were written in the immediate aftermath of the signing of the Peace of Utrecht, to celebrate Queen Anne and her leadership in bringing an end to the great wars of her day. These jubilant works are sure to bring a smile and get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season.

We will be featuring soloists Allison Walmsley, Lyndsay Promane, Chris Mayell, and Dion Mazerolle. Luise Heyerhoff and Karen Ages are joining forces with our pianist, David Eliakis - a stunning guest consort to evoke that opulent Baroque atmosphere.

The concert will be in the Hart House Great Hall, on the east side of the building on the first floor. Admission is, as always, free.

We will be accepting donations to support our partner charity, WE. If you haven't heard of this wonderful organization, check out their website: https://www.we.org/

Spring Concert

Songs of Destiny Hart House 2019 Winter.

From heavy-hitting walls of sound to whimsical riffs, Hart House Chorus has got you covered! This spring, come join us for an afternoon or music that celebrates the human spirit and the common bonds that bring us all together. The verdant harmonies of Ralph Vaughan Williams, the timeless romanticism of Brahms, and the sprightly effervescence of Finzi are among the highlights of our programme. We hope to see you there!

The concert will be in the Hart House Great Hall, on the east side of the building on the first floor. Please note that the Great Hall is accessible.

As always, admission is FREE! We are proud to collect donations for our partner charity, Amnesty International.
