Join Our Harmony
We are currently seeking versatile singers with a passion for choral excellence. Auditions for the 2026-2027 season will be held on Friday, September 11th and Sunday, September 13th in the South Sitting Room. We welcome University of Toronto students, alumni, and community members to share their voice in our historic hall.

Register your interest through our membership form to receive audition materials and requirements.
All candidates must book an audition time. The audition will consist of a short excerpt, a brief sight-singing exercise, and a short choral interview.

3. Weekly Rehearsals
Rehearsals take place every Monday from 5:30PM to 7:30 PM in the Great Hall, starting Monday, September 14th. Attending rehearsals is mandatory.

General Information
Auditions are held twice annually at the start of the fall and spring terms, in September and January. Returning members are not required to reaudition.
Eligibility Requirement
The chorus is open to all individuals with Hart House membership. All current University of Toronto students are automatically members through their incidental fees. Additional membership details can be found at harthouse.ca
Acceptance Decisions
Decisions will be communicated via email by 12 noon on the first rehearsal date. Auditions are reviewed by the conductor, executive team, and assistant conductors. Those not accepted are encouraged to reaudition in a future term. Accepted members are expected to pay a membership fee and commit to all rehearsals and performances throughout the season.
