2015-2016
Fall Concert
Come join us in the historic Great Hall at Hart House as always for our Fall 2015 concert, featuring Bach's Cantata No. 4, Christ Lag in Todes Banden. The concert will also feature a number of German works by Brahms, Schutz, Bruckner, and Hammerschmidt.

About Peace by PEACE - Peace by PEACE is a federally registered charity led by student volunteers. Peace by PEACE delivers an eleven-week conflict resolution and community-building program to local elementary school students. The organization connects children in Grades 4-6 to volunteers at the University of Toronto (St. George Campus) and York University (Keele and Glendon Campuses). The program teaches concepts such as peaceful conflict resolution, building self-esteem, and anti-bullying tools through interactive games and activities.
Last year, thanks to the generous donations raised by Hart House Chorus, Peace by PEACE was able to provide much needed subsidies for schools who could not afford the program otherwise.
Peace by PEACE aims to motivate children to become leaders by empowering them to look beyond violence to resolve conflict within the classroom, at home, and in the larger community. Thanks to the partnership with Hart House Chorus, Peace by PEACE is able to extend its mission into more classrooms across the GTA. Thank you for your continued generosity!
Spring Concert
Join the Hart House Chorus for their Spring concert! This term we are bringing you two stunning pieces from the Classical and Contemporary periods: Joseph Haydn's Mass in Time of War, and Ola Gjeilo's Dark Night of the Soul. We will be joined by soloists, timpanists, and dancers, to put on a wonderful performance!
The concert will be in the Hart House Great Hall, on the East side of the building on the first floor. Admission is free, and we will be accepting donations to support Sistema Toronto.
